The never ending debate! Is calisthenics better than weightlifting? Can you lift weights and do calisthenics at the same time? My fitness journey has been mainly calisthenics. The most progress I’ve made is using strictly calisthenics. My goal was to see how far I could go without using weight training, and needless to say, I am very satisfied with what I was able to accomplish. I’ve proved not only to myself but to many nay sayers, that you can produce incredible results with the use of only calisthenics. After roughly 7 years of not doing any weight training, I did a workout with my bro and it definitely presented a different challenge than what I’m used to. I’m debating if I should start including weight training into my regular training regime. What do you all think?
